The one or more orthodontic arch wires have a lingual wire and a labial wire, which imparts control to the instrument and enhances the characteristics of the aligner segment by the characteristics of the orthodontic arch wire. This enhances the effectiveness of the aligner segment for rearranging the one or more teeth.
The lingual wire and the labial wire substantially surround the entire dental arch.
