Abstract
Description
凸部と締め代をもって密着嵌合する凹部は、ハブ輪とステム部との嵌合部のうち、いずれか一方の嵌合部に凸部を形成した上で、ハブ輪の内径に外側継手部材のステム部を圧入することにより形成することができる(ハブ輪をステム部の外径に圧入してもよい)。この際、凸部が塑性変形および切削加工を伴いながら、相手側の凹部形成予定面に食い込んで、凹部形成予定面に凹部を形成する。凸部が相手側の凹部形成予定面に食い込んでいくことによってハブ輪の内径が僅かに拡径した状態となるため、凸部の軸方向の相対的な移動が許容される。凸部の軸方向相対移動が停止すれば、ハブ輪の内径が元の径に戻ろうとして縮径することになる。これによって、凸部が凹部に対して締め代をもって密着するので、外側継手部材とハブ輪を強固に結合一体化することができる。
このステム部27の引き抜き後、後述する別体の専用の治具(延長ステム、カラーおよび引き込み用ナット)を使用することにより、新たな等速自在継手6の外側継手部材15のステム部27を再使用するアッセンブリ体Xのハブ輪1の軸孔28に再圧入するか、あるいは、再使用の等速自在継手6の外側継手部材15のステム部27を新たなアッセンブリ体Xのハブ輪1の軸孔28に再圧入する。なお、前述した別体の治具を使用することにより、ステム部27のハブ輪1への再圧入が容易となる。なお、以下の図11〜図14は第一の実施形態について、また、図15〜図17は第二の実施形態について、再使用の等速自在継手6の外側継手部材15のステム部27を新たなアッセンブリ体Xのハブ輪1の軸孔28に再圧入する場合を例示する。

Claims (17)
- 内周に複列の外側軌道面が形成された外方部材と、外周に前記外側軌道面と対向する複列の内側軌道面を有し、ハブ輪および内輪からなる内方部材と、前記外方部材の外側軌道面と内方部材の内側軌道面との間に介装された複列の転動体とを備え、前記ハブ輪の内径に等速自在継手の外側継手部材のステム部を嵌合して結合させた駆動車輪用軸受装置において、
前記ハブ輪と前記ステム部との嵌合部のうち、いずれか一方の嵌合部に形成された軸方向に延びる複数の凸部と、他方の嵌合部に形成された、前記凸部と締め代をもって密着嵌合する複数の凹部とで、前記ハブ輪と前記外側継手部材とを分離可能に結合したことを特徴とする駆動車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記凸部を、凹部を有する部材を貫通させずに前記凹部と密着嵌合させた請求項1に記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記ハブ輪と前記外側継手部材とを軸方向で当接させた請求項1に記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記凸部を、凹部を有する部材を貫通させずに前記凹部と密着嵌合させると共に、前記ハブ輪と前記外側継手部材とを軸方向で当接させた請求項1に記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記凸部を、凹部を有する部材を貫通させて凹部と密着嵌合させた請求項1に記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記凸部の表面硬度を前記凹部の表面硬度よりも大きくした請求項1に記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記凸部を、高周波焼入れにより硬化させた請求項6に記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記外側継手部材のステム部は、係止部材によりハブ輪に対して抜け止めされている請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記ハブ輪の継手側端部と外側継手部材のハブ輪対向端部との間にすきまを設けた請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記外方部材の外周面はナックルと嵌合され、そのナックルの外方部材との嵌合面の最小内径寸法を等速自在継手の最大外径寸法よりも大きくした請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置。
- 内周に複列の外側軌道面が形成された外方部材、外周に前記外側軌道面と対向する複列の内側軌道面を有し、ハブ輪および内輪からなる内方部材、および前記外方部材の外側軌道面と内方部材の内側軌道面の間に介装された複列の転動体、を備えたアッセンブリ体と、ハブ輪の内径に嵌合される等速自在継手の外側継手部材とを、前記ハブ輪と前記外側継手部材のステム部との嵌合部のうち、いずれか一方の嵌合部に形成された軸方向に延びる複数の凸部と、他方の嵌合部に形成された、前記凸部と締め代をもって密着嵌合する複数の凹部とからなる凹凸嵌合構造で分離可能に結合した後、外側継手部材を再使用すると共に、アッセンブリ体を交換するに際して、
再使用する外側継手部材のステム部を、前記アッセンブリ体のハブ輪の内径から引抜き、新たなアッセンブリ体のハブ輪の内径に組み込むことで、前記凹凸嵌合構造を再構成することを特徴とする駆動車輪用軸受装置の組立方法。 - 再使用する外側継手部材のステム部が前記凸部を有する際、新たなアッセンブリ体のハブ輪に前記凸部に対して締め代を有する凹部を形成した状態で、前記外側継手部材のステム部を新たなハブ輪の内径に組み込む請求項11記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置の組立方法。
- 再使用する外側継手部材のステム部が前記凹部を有する際、新たなアッセンブリ体のハブ輪に前記凹部に対して締め代を有する凸部を形成した状態で、前記外側継手部材のステム部を新たなハブ輪の内径に組み込む請求項11記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置の組立方法。
- 内周に複列の外側軌道面が形成された外方部材、外周に前記外側軌道面と対向する複列の内側軌道面を有し、ハブ輪および内輪からなる内方部材、および前記外方部材の外側軌道面と内方部材の内側軌道面の間に介装された複列の転動体、を備えたアッセンブリ体と、ハブ輪の内径に嵌合される等速自在継手の外側継手部材とを、前記ハブ輪と前記等速自在継手のステム部との嵌合部のうち、いずれか一方の嵌合部に形成された軸方向に延びる複数の凸部と、他方の嵌合部に形成された、前記凸部と締め代をもって密着嵌合する複数の凹部とからなる凹凸嵌合構造で分離可能に結合した後、アッセンブリ体を再使用すると共に、外側継手部材を交換するに際して、
前記外側継手部材のステム部を、再使用するアッセンブリ体のハブ輪の内径から引抜き、新たな外側継手部材のステム部を前記アッセンブリ体のハブ輪の内径に組み込むことで、前記凹凸嵌合構造を再構成することを特徴とする駆動車輪用軸受装置の組立方法。 - 再使用するアッセンブリ体のハブ輪が前記凸部を有する際、新たな外側継手部材のステム部に前記凸部に対して締め代を有する凹部を形成した状態で、新たな外側継手部材のステム部を前記ハブ輪の内径に組み込む請求項14記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置の組立方法。
- 再使用するアッセンブリ体のハブ輪が前記凹部を有する際、新たな外側継手部材のステム部に前記凹部に対して締め代を有する凸部を形成した状態で、新たな外側継手部材のステム部を前記ハブ輪の内径に組み込む請求項14記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置の組立方法。
- 等速自在継手に接近する方向への移動がハブ輪で規制された治具により、外側継手部材をハブ輪に接近する方向へ引き込んで、外側継手部材のステム部をハブ輪の内径に圧入する請求項11〜17のいずれか一項に記載の駆動車輪用軸受装置の組立方法。
