Abstract
Description
セラミック粉体と、ブチラール系樹脂を主成分とするバインダ樹脂と、溶剤とを有するグリーンシート用塗料であって、
前記溶剤が、前記バインダ樹脂を良好に溶解する比較的に低沸点の第1溶媒と、比較的に高沸点の第2溶媒とを有する。
1)炭素数が5〜9の一価アルコール
1−ペンタノール、1−ヘキサノール、1−ヘプタノール、1−オクタノール、1−ノナノール、ターピネオール
2)環状構造を有するケトン類
シクロヘキサノン、イソホロン
3)−OH基、エーテル、ケトンの中から選ばれる2つ以上官能基を有する化合 物
2−エトキシエタノール、2−ブトキシエタノール、ジエチレングリコールモノメチルエーテル、ジエチレングリコールモノエチルエーテル、ジアセトンアルコール。
前記ポリブチラール樹脂の重合度が1000以上1700以下であり、樹脂のブチラール化度が64%より大きく78%より小さく、残留アセチル基量が6%未満である。
前記グリーンシート用塗料を準備する工程と、

発明を実施するための最良の態様
まず、本発明に係るグリーンシート用塗料(誘電体ペースト)およびグリーンシートを用いて製造される電子部品の一実施形態として、積層セラミックコンデンサの全体構成について説明する。
誘電体塗料は、誘電体原料(セラミック粉体)と有機ビヒクルとを混練して得られる有機溶剤系塗料で構成される。
1)炭素数が5〜9の一価アルコール
1−ペンタノール、1−ヘキサノール、1−ヘプタノール、1−オクタノール、1−ノナノール、ターピネオール
2)環状構造を有するケトン類
シクロヘキサノン、イソホロン
3)−OH基、エーテル、ケトンの中から選ばれる2つ以上官能基を有する化合 物
2−エトキシエタノール、2−ブトキシエタノール、ジエチレングリコールモノメチルエーテル、ジエチレングリコールモノエチルエーテル、ジアセトンアルコール。
保持温度:200〜400℃、特に250〜350℃、
保持時間:0.5〜20時間、特に1〜10時間、
雰囲気 :加湿したN2とH2との混合ガス。
昇温速度:50〜500℃/時間、特に200〜300℃/時間、
保持温度:1100〜1300℃、特に1150〜1250℃、
保持時間:0.5〜8時間、特に1〜3時間、
冷却速度:50〜500℃/時間、特に200〜300℃/時間、
雰囲気ガス:加湿したN2とH2との混合ガス等。
冷却速度:50〜500℃/時間、特に100〜300℃/時間、
雰囲気用ガス:加湿したN2ガス等。
このようにして製造された本発明の積層セラミックコンデンサは、ハンダ付等によりプリント基板上などに実装され、各種電子機器等に使用される。
たとえば、本発明の方法は、積層セラミックコンデンサの製造方法に限らず、その他の積層型電子部品の製造方法としても適用することが可能である。

セラミック粉体の出発原料としてBaTiO3粉体(BT−02/堺化学工業(株))を用いた。このBaTiO3粉体100質量部に対して、(Ba0.6Ca0.4)SiO3:1.48質量部、Y2O3:1.01質量部、MgCO3:0.72質量%、Cr2O3:0.13質量%、およびV2O5:0.045質量%になるようにセラミック粉体副成分添加物を用意した。
上記のようにして得られた塗料をワイヤーバーコーターによって、支持フィルムとしてのPETフィルム上に塗布し、乾燥させることで厚さ1μmのグリーンシートを作製した。塗布速度は50m/min、乾燥条件は、乾燥炉内の温度が60℃〜70℃、乾燥時間が2分であった。
その後、グリーンシートの光沢度を測定した。光沢度は、グリーンシートにおける表面の光沢度を、日本電色工業株式会社製VGS−1Dを用い、JIS Z−8741(1983)方法3に準拠して測定した。光沢度の%が大きいほど、表面の平滑性に優れている。結果を表1に示す。光沢度の測定では、38%以上を良好(○)と判断し、それ以外を不良(×)と判断した。
高沸点溶媒として、DGMEの代わりに、2−ブトキシエタノール(2BE)を用いた以外は、実施例1aと同様にして、グリーンシートを作製し、同様な評価を行った。結果を表1に示す。
高沸点溶媒として、DGMEの代わりに、ジアセトンアルコール(DAA)を用いた以外は、実施例1aと同様にして、グリーンシートを作製し、同様な評価を行った。結果を表1に示す。
高沸点溶媒として、DGMEの代わりに、1−ペンタノール(1P)を用いた以外は、実施例1aと同様にして、グリーンシートを作製し、同様な評価を行った。結果を表1に示す。
高沸点溶媒として、DGMEの代わりに、1−デカノールを用いた以外は、実施例1aと同様にして、グリーンシートを作製し、同様な評価を行った。結果を表1に示す。
高沸点溶媒として、DGMEの代わりに、1−ブタノールを用いた以外は、実施例1aと同様にして、グリーンシートを作製し、同様な評価を行った。結果を表1に示す。
高沸点溶媒として、DGMEの代わりに、DAAを用い、しかも、その添加量(キシレン含む)を、溶剤全体100質量%に対して、8.8〜75質量%に変化させた以外は、実施例1aと同様にして、グリーンシートを作製し、同様な評価を行った。結果を表2に示す。なお、比較例2bでは、添加量が多すぎたために、乾燥せずにシート化ができなかった。
表1に示すように、沸点が130〜230°Cの範囲の高沸点溶媒をセラミック塗料に含ませることで、シートの光沢度が向上し、シートの表面の平滑性が向上することが確認できた。
Claims (18)
- セラミック粉体と、ブチラール系樹脂を主成分とするバインダ樹脂と、溶剤とを有するグリーンシート用塗料であって、
前記溶剤が、前記バインダ樹脂を良好に溶解する比較的に低沸点の第1溶媒と比較的に高沸点の第2溶媒とを有するグリーンシート用塗料。 - 前記第2溶媒は、1)炭素数が5〜9の一価アルコール、2)環状構造を有するケトン類、3)−OH基、エーテル、ケトンの中から選ばれる2つ以上の官能基を有する化合物の中から選ばれる少なくとも1つを含む請求項1記載のグリーンシート用塗料。
- 室温での前記第2溶媒の蒸気圧が、前記第1溶媒よりも低いことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のグリーンシート用塗料。
- 前記第2溶媒の沸点が130〜230°Cの範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のグリーンシート用塗料。
- 25°Cにおける前記第2溶媒の蒸気圧が、1.3〜667Paの範囲にある請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のグリーンシート用塗料。
- 前記第2溶媒の沸点をT°Cとし、25°Cにおける前記第2溶剤の蒸気圧をαPaとした場合に、T×αの積が2000〜65000(°C×Pa)の範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のグリーンシート用塗料。
- 前記第2溶媒が、前記グリーンシート用塗料をシート化する際の乾燥温度よりも50〜105°C高い沸点を有する請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のグリーンシート用塗料。
- 前記第2溶媒が、溶剤全体を100質量%に対して5〜70質量%含まれる請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載のグリーンシート用塗料。
- 前記第1溶媒に含まれる最も沸点が低いアルコールの沸点よりも60〜150°C高い沸点を持つ有機溶媒が前記第2溶媒に含まれる請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載のグリーンシート用塗料。
- 前記第1溶媒に含まれる最も蒸気圧が高いアルコールの25°Cにおける蒸気圧に対して0.1〜10%の25°Cにおける蒸気圧を持つ有機溶媒が前記第2溶媒に含まれる請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載のグリーンシート用塗料。
- 前記第2溶媒は、下記1)〜3)の中から選ばれる少なくとも1つを含む請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載のグリーンシート用塗料。
1)炭素数が5〜9の一価アルコール
1−ペンタノール、1−ヘキサノール、1−ヘプタノール、1−オクタノール、1−ノナノール、ターピネオール
2)環状構造を有するケトン類
シクロヘキサノン、イソホロン
3)−OH基、エーテル、ケトンの中から選ばれる2つ以上官能基を有する化合 物
2−エトキシエタノール、2−ブトキシエタノール、ジエチレングリコールモノメチルエーテル、ジエチレングリコールモノエチルエーテル、ジアセトンアルコール。 - 前記ブチラール系樹脂がポリブチラール樹脂であって、
前記ポリブチラール樹脂の重合度が1000以上1700以下であり、樹脂のブチラール化度が64%より大きく78%より小さく、残留アセチル基量が6%未満であることを特徴とする請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載のグリーンシート用塗料。 - 前記バインダ樹脂が前記セラミックス粉体100質量部に対して5質量部以上6.5質量部以下で含まれる請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載のグリーンシート用塗料。
- 請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載のグリーンシート用塗料を準備する工程と、
前記グリーンシート用塗料を用いてセラミックグリーンシートを成形する工程と、
を有するセラミックグリーンシートの製造方法。 - 前記グリーンシート用塗料を用いてセラミックグリーンシートを成形する際の乾燥温度が50〜100°Cである請求項14に記載のセラミックグリーンシートの製造方法。
- 請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載のグリーンシート用塗料を準備する工程と、
前記グリーンシート用塗料を用いてセラミックグリーンシートを成形する工程と、
前記グリーンシートを乾燥させる工程と、
乾燥後のグリーンシートを、内部電極層を介して積層し、グリーンチップを得る工程と、
前記グリーンチップを焼成する工程と、
を有するセラミック電子部品の製造方法。 - 前記グリーンシートを乾燥させる際の乾燥温度が50〜100°Cである請求項16に記載のセラミック電子部品の製造方法。
- 請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載のグリーンシート用塗料を用いて製造されるグリーンシート。
