Description

FIG. 3 is a top view of the chip 10. In the present embodiment, the chip 10 has a circular shape with a diameter of about 40 mm, and the IC chip 11 is embedded at a position shifted from the center of the chip 10, in the drawing, at a middle position between the center and the end. . In addition, it is manufactured using a material such as plastic or clay (clay) that makes the entire chip lightweight, and has a sufficient size as compared with the IC chip 11. FIG. 4 is a side view of the chip 10. A plastic cover 12 is provided when the IC chip 11 is embedded, and the entire thickness of the chip 10 is about 5 mm. Note that the color of the plastic cover is varied depending on the type of the game hall chip so that the customer can easily identify the type of the game chip. FIG. 5 is a diagram showing the shape of the IC chip 11 incorporated in the chip 10. As shown in the figure, it has a square shape of about 5 mm and can be easily incorporated into the chip 10.
In addition, when the IC chip 11 is embedded at a position shifted from the center of the chip 10 and a plurality of game room chips are overlapped on the game table, an erroneous detection by the vertical sensor occurs. Can be drastically reduced.
FIG. 6 shows an example of the internal structure of the IC chip 11. As shown in the figure, the memory 110, the application 111, the non-contact interface 112, and the power generation unit (power supply unit) 113 are configured. The memory 110 stores the ID of the chip 10 that is the incorporation destination. This ID includes type information of the chip 10 and identification information of a game arcade where the chip 10 is used. The ID is written in the memory 110 at the time of manufacturing the amusement chip, but it can be rewritten or erased by electrical processing even after manufacturing. The application 111 performs various controls and processes for sending a signal corresponding to the ID stored in the memory 110. The non-contact interface 112 is an interface for sending the ID of the chip 10 as a signal without contacting an external sensor.

In other words, the coiled antenna 112a of the non-contact interface 112 can be used for both power generation (corresponding to 113 in FIG. 6) and signal transmission. For example, the coil antenna 112a receives electromagnetic waves generated from the game chip detection device 20 and receives power. The power is converted to supply necessary power to the IC chip 11 and the ID of the chip 10 is transmitted as an electromagnetic wave.
Furthermore, the ID of the chip 10 is usually included in the detection result (counting data) of the sensor 21 and transmitted to the host computer 30, thereby checking forgery or the like.
FIG. 7 is a block diagram showing the function of the application 111 of FIG. 6 in more detail. In response to power generation by the coiled antenna 112a, serial-parallel conversion (111a) is performed by the application 111, and parallel transmission within the IC chip 11 becomes possible. Further, a command and an address necessary for signal transmission are generated (111b), thereby controlling the memory 110 (111c), and the ID of the game room chip is read from the memory 110. At this time, anti-collision control (111d) is performed at the same time to avoid a collision in data transmission. The application 111 sends the ID read from the memory 110 as a signal as it is, but performs parallel-serial conversion (111e) before sending, converts it to a serial signal, and sends it through the non-contact interface 112.
FIG. 8 is an arrangement example of the game chip detecting device 20 in the game hall. In this example, a playground to be managed is provided in an entertainment facility area attached to a hotel or the like (illustrated in the figure). In the management target area 70, the customer exits the entrance gate 71 where the customer enters and exits, the front 72 of the game hall, the chip transfer place 73 for the game hall that transfers the chips 10 used in the game hall, and the customer. At this time, a gaming area chip collection place 74 for returning the chips 10 and an area (table game area) 75 for performing a table game using the gaming area chips are provided. A plurality of tables are placed in the table game area 75, and a table game such as blackjack or roulette is played in each table, and a dealer battles with a customer. The customer can join the game by taking the chip 10 to the table.
In the figure, the game chip detecting device 20 is arranged at a portion indicated by an asterisk. The entrance gate 71 is composed of an entrance gate and an exit gate (not shown), and in order to check whether or not the customer carries the chip 10 at the time of entrance / exit, each of the entrance gate and the exit gate has a chip for the game hall. A detection device 20 is installed. The entrance gate 71 is also provided with an infrared sensor for counting the number of customers entering and leaving, and the count number is used when the host computer 30 calculates various management data.
In addition, a chip storage box 20a with a sensor is provided in a chip delivery machine (not shown) installed at the game hall chip delivery station 73 and a chip collection machine (not shown) installed at the game hall chip collection station 74b. The chip 10 is counted when the chip 10 is delivered and collected. Furthermore, in the table game area 75, a plurality of sensor-equipped chip storage boxes 20a are arranged for each table. A chip storage box 20a with a sensor arranged on the table includes a chip storage box for preparing a dealer for storing a chip for use in a game in advance, and a chip 10 which is a winner of the dealer in the table game. There is a WIN chip storage box for storing the chip, and a reward chip storage box for storing the chip 10 that is handed over to the dealer as a reward. The chip 10 is put in and out of each box by a dealer.
FIG. 9 is a diagram showing a sensor mounting structure of the chip-containing box with sensor 20a and a mechanism for detecting the chip 10. A path (slot part) is provided in the counter of each storage box installed on the chip delivery machine, the chip collection machine, or the table so that several sheets flow at a time, and the electromagnetic wave transmitted from the chip 10 there. A sensor 21 for reading is attached. With such a structure, the type and number of chips 10 can be accurately detected.
A sensor is also attached to each table in the table game area 75. FIG. 10 is a view showing a sensor mounting structure of the sensor-equipped game table 20b and a mechanism for detecting the chip 10. As shown in the figure, a sensor 21 for reading an electromagnetic wave transmitted from the chip 10 is attached under the area where the chip 10 is placed. Since the IC chip 11 in the chip 10 is embedded at a position shifted from the center of the chip 10 as described above, detection errors due to overlapping of emitted electromagnetic waves can be suppressed.
Based on the above configuration, the data flow in the game arcade and the game hall management system will be described in detail.
First, the customer passes through the entrance gate 71 to enter the amusement hall. At this time, the customer who enters is detected by the infrared sensor installed at the entrance gate. The detection result is transmitted to the host computer 30 and the number of visitors (a) is counted. The count result is added to the management file 35 and stored. Furthermore, it is detected whether or not the customer is carrying the chip 10 by the game chip detecting device 20 installed at the entrance gate. When the chip 10 is detected at the entrance gate, the detection result is transmitted to the host computer 30 via the communication module 22, and a warning message is output to the PC terminal 40 by the chip monitoring unit 33. In this case, a warning message may be output by voice so that the chip 10 is not brought into the entrance gate. This prevents unauthorized introduction of the chip 10.
The customer who has passed the entrance gate exchanges cash and the like for the chip 10 at the chip delivery place 73 for the game hall. Specifically, when the customer inserts cash into the chip delivery machine, the chip 10 is released from the sensor-equipped chip storage box 20a. When non-cash such as a traveler's check is inserted, the chip 10 is released in the same manner by inputting the amount by operating the chip delivery machine. Here, the input amount (b) of the customer, the number of times of insertion (c), and the released chip (d) counted by the chip count data totaling unit 32 are stored cumulatively in the management file 35.
In each game table, the chips 10 prepared in advance by the game arcade are stored and managed in the above-described preparation chip storage box. The stored prepared chips vary depending on the result of the game, but the initially prepared chip 10 is managed by the management file 35 as the initial chip (e). In addition to that, the total amount of the prepared chips that fluctuate at any time by the sensor 21 is detected, counted, and transmitted to the host computer 30. The host computer 30 stores the received data as a current preparation chip (f) in the management file 35 and manages it.
The customer who has obtained the chip 10 can enjoy the table game at the table in the table game area 75 (sensor-equipped game table 20b). The customer puts the chip 10 on the board and plays a game. When the customer wins the dealer in the game, the chip 10 is delivered to the customer from the preparation chip storage box. When the customer loses, the chip 10 on the board is stored in the WIN chip storage box. The count data of the chip 10 stored in the WIN chip storage box is cumulatively stored in the management file 35 as the dealer's winning amount (g).
Further, when the customer gives the chip 10 as a reward to the dealer, the dealer puts it into the reward chip box. The count data of the chip 10 detected at this time is cumulatively stored in the management file 35 as a reward chip (h).
In the present embodiment, the case where the chip 10 detected by the sensor 21 of the sensor-equipped game table 20b is 0 is regarded as a game start, and the counting result for each game, that is, the chip (i) that the customer has put on the board And the number of games (j) are recorded in the management file 35.
In addition, although it is the totaling method of the chip | tip (i) put out on the board surface, you may tabulate as follows, for example. When the number of chips transmitted from the sensor-equipped game table 20b becomes 0, the host computer 30 stores the number of chips transmitted at the next timing in a memory or the like. Further, when the number of chips transmitted at the next timing is larger than the previous time, it is determined that the customer is in the process of placing chips on the board, and only the latest count result is stored. If there is no change in the number of chips for a predetermined time, the number of chips at that time is stored in the management file 35 as the chip (i) that the customer put out on the board in the game.
When the customer leaves, the chip 10 is exchanged for a prize at the game chip collection place 74. Specifically, when the customer inserts the chip 10 into the chip collecting machine, the chip storage box 20a with the sensor stores the chip 10, and at that time, the prize is delivered to the customer according to the number of detected chips 10. Here, the chip (k) introduced by the customer and the number of times of processing (l) are cumulatively stored in the management file 35.
When the customer passes through the exit gate of the entrance gate 71 in order to exit, it is detected whether or not the customer is carrying the chip 10 by the game hall chip detection device 20 installed at the exit gate. When the chip 10 is detected at the exit gate, the detection result is transmitted to the host computer 30 via the communication module 22, and a warning message is output to the PC terminal 40 by the chip monitoring unit 33. In this case, a warning message may be output by voice so as to return the chip 10 to a person leaving the exit gate. As a result, illegal take-out of the chip 10 is prevented, and it is possible to reduce the cost of purchasing (creating) the chip on the game hall side due to loss of the chip.
When the customer takes the chip 10 home as a commemoration, the ID stored in the memory 110 of the IC chip 11 is erased by the ID eraser at the front 72, and the chip 10 is handed over to the customer as an unusable state thereafter. To do. In the present embodiment, the data (m) of the chip 10 from which the ID has been erased is notified from the ID eraser to the host computer.
As described above, various count data are totaled by the chip count data totaling unit 32 of the host computer 30 and stored in the management file 35. In addition, the discharge chip (d) from the chip delivery machine, the initial chip (e) of the preparation chip storage box, the current chip (f) of the preparation chip storage box, the chip (g) of the WIN chip storage box, and the reward chip box described above Chip count data totaling section 32 for chip (h), chip (i) detected by sensor 21 of sensor-equipped game table 20b, chip to be collected into chip collection machine (k), and ID erase chip (m). It is assumed that all are converted into monetary amounts according to the type and number of chips 10 and stored in the management file 35. The various data calculation unit 34 calculates various management data of the game arcade using these stored data.
