Abstract

PURPOSE:To control the level of each water storing facility despite the fluctuation of the demand value by changing the inflow of water to each water storing facility based on a coefficient of distribution when the water level changing speed exceeds its allowable range. CONSTITUTION:The water level changing values and speeds of the water storing facilities 1-1-1-n are obtained from the detecting signals of water gauges 2-1-2-n and flow rate meters 10-1-10-n respectively. At the same time, the upper and lower limit level changing values are also obtained and it is decided whether the level changing speed is kept under its allowable range or not. Then the coefficients of distribution are also obtained so that the water storing states are known for the facilities 1-1-1-n. When the level changing speeds exceeds its allowable range, the inflow is changed based on the coefficient of distribution for each water storing facility. Thus it is possible to control the amount of water to be supplied to each of facilities 1-1-1-n in response to the error between a water amount operating control pattern of the entire water purifying process and the demand value as well as the water level and its speed even though said error increases. As a result, the water levels of facilities 1-1-1-n are always kept at each target value with no fluctuation.
