The recording layer 13 is formed of the alloy having the compsn. expressed by the formula In50-xSb50-xM2x (x is in a range shown by 0<x<7.5, M is at least one kind of the elements selected from Ag, Pt, Pd, Ni and Si). The element expressed by M has a high crystallization rate and phase change speed and the high crystallization rate of an InSb intermetallic compd. is high.
