Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a long superconductive wire having good mechanical properties and stable superconductivity by twining superconductive strands of oxide type, and covering the surface with normally electroconductive substance by fusion spray or plating. CONSTITUTION:Strands made of superconductive material of oxide type are twined together, and the surface is covered with normally electroconductive substance by fusion spray or plating. As normally electroconductive substance to be used can be named Cu, Ag, Pd, Al and alloy from them, which have effect to enhance the mechanical properties of the superconductive wire of oxide type and stabile superconductivity. The normally electroconductive substance such as Cu as covering undergoes heating and solution treatment, which will further enhance the mechanical properties.
