Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable dry copying operation according to the purpose of use by providing the printing device with the function of a dry copying machine. CONSTITUTION:A dry copying means 100 which forms an optical image of an original to take a copy, a plate making means 200 with a means for plate making by perforating heat sensitive original paper corresponding to picture elements one to one, and a printing means 300 which prints an image while an original plate is mounted on a barrel automatically, are integrally provided. Namely, the devices for copying and printing are incorporated in one frame body, and a basic operation part such as a magnification specification, a quantity setting, a start, and a stop button for the copying and printing and an optical path and an original platen 103 which are used as respective image forming means are shared. Consequently, a copying machine and a printer need not be prepared individually, and the installation space and cost are less than when the two machines are purchased. Further, a controller is shared to make basic operation common, so misoperation is reduced and an operator needs not to know well how to operate the two kinds of devices.
