Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a disk having high reliability by laminating a 1st dielectric layer, recording medium layer, 2nd dielectric layer, reflecting layer, and heat resistant resin layer having >=200 deg.C thermal deformation temp. successively on a disk-shaped transparent substrate provided with a center hole in the central part, packing an adhesive agent over the entire surface and covering the surface with another substrate. CONSTITUTION:The 1st dielectric layer 12 consisting of SiO2, ZnS, etc., is deposited on the transparent disk substrate 10 which consists of polycarbonate, etc., and is provided with the center hole in the central part. The phase transition type recording medium layer 13 which consists of a TeOx, Ge, Sn compsn. and the optical density of which is reversibly changed by the heat of laser light to execute recording and erasing is provided thereon. The surface thereof is coated with the 2nd dielectric layer 14 and the thin film reflecting layer 15 consisting of Al, Cr, etc., is provided thereon. For example, an alicyclic methacrylate material having the heat resistance of >=200 deg.C thermal deformation temp. is thereafter spin-coated over the entire surface and a protective substrate 17 having the same shape as the shape of the disk 10 is press-welded thereto. The deformation by the stripping of the adhesive agent is thus prevented.
