Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent closing of a gap with gravy, to feed enough secondary air to a combustion flame and flame, and to perform complete combustion, by a method wherein a gap is formed between a cover body and a cylindrical part, and the gap side of the cover body and the upper end of the cylindrical part are inclined toward the burner port side. CONSTITUTION:The gap side 22 between a cylindrical part 4 of a burner cap 2 and a cover body 6 and an upper end part 8 are machined to form a projected part 17 such that it is inclined toward the burner port 16 side. As noted above, since the gap side 22 and the upper end part 8 are inclined toward the burner port 16 side, gravy boiling over to the cover body 6 flows through the gap 5 since the gap side 22 part works as cut off function and simultaneously the upper end part 8 serves as a weir for gravy. Therefore, the gravy is prevented from flowing to the cylindrical part 4 with which a secondary air hole is formed, and the gap 5 is prevented from being closed with the gravy. This constitution, since secondary air for combustion is fed enough to flame 10 and a combustion flame 14, prevents the occurrence of incomplete combustion due to deficiency in secondary air, and performs complete combustion.
