Abstract

PURPOSE:To cope with vibrations of different plural types with one dynamic damper by constituting the dynamic damper for damping a torsional vibration to be attached to a turning center of a damper pulley via a member with elasticity in the vertical direction. CONSTITUTION:When a damper pulley P is attached to the end of a crankshaft and driven, first of all, a torsional vibration is damped by a damper 40. On the other hand, axial and whirling vibrations attributable to a bend of the crankshaft are damped by a second vibration system composed of a spring property in a web part 30 and an inertial body made up of a combination between the damper 40 and a rim part 20. In this case, a spring constant inherent in the web part 30 can be approximated to the desired value by a punched hole made in the web 30. And, composite mass between the rim part 20 as the inertial body and the damper 40 is relatively large enough, and since a first resonance point appearing in an amplitude-frequency curve will appear qualitatively in a low frequency area, technical items are selectable in an independent manner.
