Abstract
PURPOSE: To establish possibility of selective service including charging a storage battery, using as a turbine nozzle or electrically driven nozzle, etc., by furnishing the turbine nozzle internally with a generator motor, a charger circuit, and storage battery, and changing over a slide air passage and also the gear meshing condition by a switch installed for each type floor surface to be cleaned at the time of service. CONSTITUTION: When a suction tool is applied to a straw mat, etc., a switch 16 is turned into the Tatami (rush mat) position, and the air passing through a side air passage 6 rotates a turbine 1 to cause rotation of a generator 10 through gears 2 and 3. The power generated in this manner is sent through terminals 11 and 12 to a charger circuit 14 and charges a storage battery 15. At this time, gears 2, 7, 5 are not meshed, and a rotary brush 4 remains out of rotation. At service as turbine nozzle, the switch 16 is turned into the center position, and the air passing through the slide air passage 6 rotates the turbine 1, and the brush 4 is rotated through the gear 2, 7, 5. At this time, the gear 3 is out of meshing with the gears 8 and 9, so that the generator 10 will not constitute a load.
