CONSTITUTION:A bias head 1 and a transfer drum 2 are arranged onto a sub- base plate 9 in a relatively displaceable manner, a driving means 14 is composed by using an air cylinder 30, and ON-OFF operation of a first solenoid valve 45 is controlled by a reed switch 46 fitted to the air cylinder 30. Driving force making the bias head 1 and the transfer drum 2 approach each other is made to correspond to a space l between the head 1 and the drum 2 and changed over at strong and weak steps, and adjoining driving force is weakened when the space l is wide to extent that the finger is inserted and adjoining driving force is strengthened when the space is narrow to an extent that the finger is not inserted, and a mother tape 3 and a blank tape 4 are stuck fast. Accordingly, an injury can be prevented even when the finger is caught between the bias head and the transfer drum without lowering push force on magnetic transfer.
