Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled polymer having excellent mechanical strength and excellent hydrophilic nature, showing transparency not changing with time and heat history, by reacting an aminocarboxylic acid with a diol compound and a dicarboxylic acid. CONSTITUTION:(A) An aminocarboxylic acid or a lactam containing >=6C or a diamine containing >=6C and a dicarboxylate are polymerized with (B) one or more diols shown by formula I-formula IV (m and n are 1-15; Y is 1-6C alkylene or S), (C) a poly(alkylene oxide) glycol having 200-6,000 number- average mol.wt. and (D) 4-20C dicarboxylic acid under heating to give the aimed polymer which has 10-90wt.% polyamide unit, 90-10wt.% polyether ester unit and preferably 15,000-50,000 number-average mol.wt.
