Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition by incorporating a composition made up of a polyphenylene ether resin and styrene resin with a premix composition comprising a polyolefin resin and resinous radial tereblock copolymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (I) 100pts.wt. of (A) 20-80pts.wt. of a polyphenylene ether resin [pref. poly(2,6- dimethyl-1,4-phenylene)ether] and (B) 80-20pts.wt. of a styrene resin (pref. rubber-modified high-impact polystyrene) with (C) 1-<20pts.wt. of a premix composition comprising C1: 30-70pts.wt. of a polyolefin resin (e.g., copolymer from ethylene and organic ester) and C2: 70-30pts.wt. of a resinous radial tereblock copolymer of formula (A is vinyl aromatic block; B is conjugated diene hydrocarbon block; R is coupling agent; n is 3 or 4; content of A component is 50-65wt.%) with a weight average mol. wt. of 200,000-500,000.
