Abstract

PURPOSE:To record an image of high resolving power at a high speed, by forming a sheet based on a specific wt.% of wood pulp and soft calcium carbonate and specifying the Stockigt sizing degree when a basis wt. is set to 64g/m<2> thereof. CONSTITUTION:A sheet is based on 70-95wt.% wood pulp and 5-30wt.% soft calcium carbonate and the Stockight sizing degree when a basis wt. is set to 64g/m<2> thereof is set to 2-25sec. Soft calcium carbonate contains 80% or more of one having a particle size of 0.5-1.5mum and calcite having oil absorbancy of 10-80ml/100g is pref. The above mentioned soft calcium carbonate having narrow particle size distribution is especially pref. from an aspect enhancing a dot shape. Further, other white pigment is can be used in the state compounded along with soft calcium carbonate. As the white pigment capable of being compounded, pigment used in the internal addition of paper in general, for example, kaolin, clay, org. pigment (plastic pigment), zeolex and silica can be used.
