PURPOSE:To obtain favorable quality in an external appearance under coating condition of 80 deg.C or higher, by a method wherein a split mold where the backside for a product has been formed of a mold material having better heat insulating properties than that of a surface side is heated at a temperature in the vicinity of the glass transition temperature or higher and the product is held for a predetermined period of time within the mold after a backside mold temperature has been raised to the temperature in the vicinity of the glass transition temperature or higher within the mold after molding. CONSTITUTION:A split mold for the backside of a product is formed of mold material having better heat insulating properties than that of a mold 3 for a surface side or in mold dimensions therefore. When the molds 3, 4 are heated at a temperature in the vicinity of the glass transition temperature or higher, reaction injection molding of the mold 3 for the surface side of the product is performed under a state where a temperature of the mold 3 is higher than the mold temperature of the backside of the product.
