The control section 6 starts a message sending section 4 to form a loop on the line 2 and an exchange applies ring trip. A chime built in the voice ROM 5 in advance is energized to send a message. In case of wrong dialing, a caller hooks on the handset to stop the dialing. In case of correct dialing, the control section 6 rings a ringer 7 to send a ring back tone through a message transmission section at the same time. Thus, it is not required to respond to a wrong dialing and ringing of the bell for a long time is avoided.
