PURPOSE: To inhibit a line connection from being made in a state wherein a voice communication is impossible and to improve the efficiency of the communication by providing a voice communication equipment with a detecting means which detects whether or not a communication path is in use, an inspection means which inspects whether the voice communication path is normal or abnormal, and a control means for communication path which controls whether the communication path is allowed to be used or inhibited from being used.
CONSTITUTION: The voice communication equipment 1A is used instead of the voice communication equipment 1 for the communication system of PBX14. A control signal control part 8, in case of detecting the corresponding communication path of a fast digital line 13 not being used, connects a switch 9 to the side of a data generation part 6 and a data detection part 7.
