Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce processing cost and to improve operability by a method wherein a fitting member of long lengths having flanges formed on both lateral sides is fixed on the skeleton side of a building and a tile block having dovetail grooves formed in the rear is engaged with and held by the flanges of the fitting member. CONSTITUTION: A support member 2 is fixed to the skeleton 1 of a building and a plurality of fitting members 3 are fixed to the support member at prescribed intervals and in parallel in the vertical directions. The fitting member 3, which is constituted of a steel sheet or the like, is formed to have a hat- shaped section and cuts 3d are provided at prescribed intervals in flanges 3c of the member, while the base sheet 3a thereof is fixed to the support member 2. A tile block 5 has dovetail grooves 5a provided in the rear and they are engaged with the flanges 3c, while the lower end face of the block 5 is supported and positioned in the vertical direction by a cut-raised pawl 3f formed by bending the cut 3d. After a wall body is constructed, moreover, a jointing material is filled in joint gaps 8 and 9 between end faces of the blocks 5 and between lateral sides of a row thereof.
