[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Technical Field of the Invention] This invention relates to an improvement of an electric stove using a sheathed heater as a heating element, and is aimed at achieving a particularly high heating efficiency.

1 to 3 show a conventional electric stove. In the figure, 1 is a sheathed heater and the 3rd one is a sheathed heater.
As shown in the figure, it is bent into a spiral shape, and is pressed into a substantially flat upper surface and a convex lower surface.
Reference numeral 2 denotes a juice tray with a concave cross section provided on the lower surface of this sheathed heater, and its outer peripheral edge is placed in the upper opening of the box-shaped case 3. 4 shows a cooking pot placed on the sheathed heater 1.

Looking at the sheathed heater 1 and the pot 4 configured in this way, it can be said that the pot 4 is heated mainly by the radiant heat from the sheathed heater 1.

That is, when the sheathed heater 1 and the pot 4 are enlarged as shown in FIG. 2, the contact between the sheathed heater 1 and the pot 4 is line contact or point contact. In order to increase the contact area with the pot 4, the sheathed heater 1 is press-molded into a flat surface on the contact side, but this cannot be said to be an effective method in reality. This means that
This is thought to be because the bottom of the pot 4 is not necessarily flat and may deform during use and become no longer flat, or because the sheathed heater 1 itself is installed in a slightly tilted state.

Therefore, as shown in Fig. 2, the pot 4 and the sheathed heater 1
The two are in contact with each other with many gaps, and it can be seen that the pot 4 is actually heated by radiant heat.

In the shape of the sheathed heater 1, the ratio of the surface area facing the pot 4 side and the surface area facing the soup pan 2 side is much larger in the latter, and the radiant heat from the surface of the sheathed heater 1 facing the soup pan 2 side is As shown by the arrow in FIG. 1, once the soup hits the saucer 2, it is reflected and serves to indirectly heat the pot 4, but the temperature of the soup saucer 2 itself becomes high and the soup flows from the saucer 2 into the case 3. There was a drawback that heat loss was large due to the heat escaping or being conducted to the case 3.

This invention reduces such conventional heat loss,
To obtain an electric stove with high heating efficiency, the cross-sectional shape of the sheathed heater is formed so that the surface area facing the pot side is larger than the surface area facing the soup saucer side.

An embodiment of this invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 4 and 5. Reference numeral 5 indicates a sheathed heater, which has a cross-sectional shape with a substantially flat lower surface and a spherical upper surface.

Reference numeral 2 denotes a soup saucer with a concave cross section installed on the lower surface of the sheathed heater 5, which serves to catch any boiling over from the pot 4 and also serves to reflect the radiant heat of the sheathed heater 5 toward the pot side.

In the electric stove of the embodiment configured as described above, the pot 4 is heated by conduction heat at the contact portion with the sheathed heater 5 and radiant heat through the space. Here, there is no difference in conductive heat between point contact or line contact between the sheathed heater 5 and the pot 4, as in the conventional case.
There is a big difference in radiant heat.

That is, in the surface area of the sheathed heater 5,
The ratio of the surface areas facing the pot 4 side and the soup saucer 2 side is much larger in the former.

The lower surface of the sheathed heater 5 facing the soup saucer 2 side is made substantially flat to minimize its area, which can be said to be an effective shape for heating the pot 4.

従つて、上記構成によれば、鍋4をより直接的

Therefore, according to the above configuration, the pot 4 can be heated by radiation more directly, and the soup saucer 2 can be heated unnecessarily.
Heat loss due to radiant heat from the soup tray 2 into the case 3 and heat loss due to conduction to the case 3 can be reduced.

Therefore, an electric stove with good overall heating efficiency can be obtained.

Figure 6 shows another embodiment of this invention.
The sheathed heater 6 is formed into a convex shape with a flat surface partially formed on the upper surface side that contacts the pot 4. In this case, the heating efficiency is better than that shown in FIGS. 4 and 5 because the contact area with the pot 4 is slightly larger.

Note that the cross-sectional shape of the sheathed heater 6 according to this invention is not limited to that of the above-mentioned embodiment, and various variations are possible, but in any case, the surface area is larger than the surface area facing the pot 4 side, with the juice pan 2 side being a substantially flat surface. It is characterized by its small size.

As mentioned above, in the cross-sectional shape of the sheathed heater, the top surface facing the pot side is convex or spherical, and the sauce pan side is approximately flat, thereby reducing heat loss and creating an electric stove with high heating efficiency. can be provided.
