Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the titled polymer suitable for tight fastening of thin layer materials such as paper, cloth and magnetic tape or for polishing, by reacting an aromatic polyamine with a cyclic trimer of an aliphatic polyisocyanate.
CONSTITUTION: (A) An aromatic polyamine [preferably 4,4'-methylenebis[2- chloroaniline) or 1,3-propanediol bis(4-aminobenzoate)] is reacted with (B) a cyclic trimer of an aliphatic polyisocyanate (preferably cyclic trimer of hexamethylene-1 or 6-diisocyanate) in the equivalent ratio of the amino group and isocyanate group of preferably 1.00W1.05 to give the aimed polymer.
