The change rate is constant at any rotating angle if the rotating speed of the driving motor is assumed to be constant. The control of the quantity of light is thus satisfactorily executed without having an overshoot, hunting and response delay over the entire range of the rotating angle. The exact and easy control of the illumination intensity (brightness) to a subject is thereby executed.
