Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the rise of the central temp. of nuclear fuel pellets by forming the nuclear fuel pellets which form concave faces and the nuclear fuel pellets which form convex faces so as to have equally curved faces, combining these pellets with each other and loading into a cladding pipe. CONSTITUTION:The curved faces 7 of the nuclear fuel pellets 2 which form the concave faces are equaled to the curved faces 9 of the nuclear fuel pellets 3 which form the convex faces. These pellets are alternately loaded into the cladding pipe 1. Since both the pellets 7, 9 make face-to-face contact alternately with each other, the dancing of the pellets is prevented. The rise of the central temp. of the pellets is prevented by providing hollow parts 8 to the central parts of the pellets 2.
