Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable a control with high accuracy and quick response by computing an armature current mean value from maximum and minimum values of said armature current and from a period for which the armature current is zero.
CONSTITUTION: If an accelerator opening θ is given, a torque command T corresponding to said value is outputted. Further, an armature current command Imc is outputted. A PI arithmetic processing unit 174 outputs an armature chopper signal αm according to a deviation between the armature current command Imc and the armature current mean value Imf. On the other hand, a Pl arithmetic processing unit 179 outputs a field current chopper signal αf according to a deviation between a field current command Ifc corresponding to the armature current mean value Imf and a field current Iff. A mean value computing means 176 computes an armature current mean value Imf on the basis of maximum and minimum values of armature current Im and of a period for which the armature current is zero.
