Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain effectively and stably an uniform piezoelectric thin plate ceramic, by a method wherein powder of the same composition as piezoelectric material powder to be used for forming a green sheet is sprayed or spread between green sheets, which are lap-sintered.
CONSTITUTION: The same piezoelectric material powder as the one used for forming a green sheet is calcinated at 600∼900°C, and is made powder or fine powder in the range of 1∼50μm. After this powder is sprayed or spread between green sheets, the green sheets are lap-sintered. As for the piezoelectric ceramics material, both single component and multi-component are available if only they are composed of perovskite type or tungsten bronze type crystal compound containing volatile component such as lead. Thereby, sintering to recover camber is completely made unnecessary, for camber and undulation are little, and a thin plate sintered material which is uniform and exhibits excellent piezoelectric characteristics are obtained.
