Abstract

PURPOSE: To call an opposite subscriber from any telephone set only by remembering an abbreviated dial number by constituting an electronic exchange so that the opposite subscriber corresponding to the abbreviated dial number is called by calling a specific line wire and dialing the abbreviated dial number.

CONSTITUTION: In detecting an incoming call arriving at the specific trunk line 7, a central controller 6 controls a channel switch 9 to connect the specific line wire 7 to a PB signal receiver 2 and an answer message sending means 3, and sends out a message urging the dialing of the abbreviated dial number to the line wire 7 first. Then when the abbreviated dial number that the calling subscriber who receives the message dials reaches the specific line wire, it is sent to the central controller 6 through the PB receiver 2 and if there is a coincident abbreviated dial number among numbers registered in the central controller 6 previously, a dial signal corresponding to the telephone number of the opposite subscriber corresponding to the coincident abbreviated dial number is taken out of the central controller 6 and outputted to another line wire 8 to control the channel switch 9, thereby connecting the specific line wire 7 which is connected to the PB signal receiver 2 and answer message sending means 3 to the line wire 8.
