がある。(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) Conventionally, when molding a lead frame, internal leads, external leads, etc. were punched out in sequence.
This is what ultimately completes all leads. In this way, since the leads are punched and formed one after another, distortions such as tensile force during the punching process remain as internal stress in the lead portion of the completed lead frame, causing twisting of the leads. Due to this internal stress, when a semiconductor element is mounted on a lead frame and hermetically sealed with a resin mold, etc., when bending and forming the external lead,
The external leads of the lead frame may be twisted or bent, causing the external leads to deviate from their normal positions.
When bonding a printed circuit board or the like to a folded external lead of a semiconductor device, there is a problem that the external lead and the lead bonding position of the printed circuit board or the like do not match correctly.

のリード接合位置との不整合を引き起こすからである。The above-mentioned deviation from the normal position of the external lead becomes a serious problem as the integration density of the leads increases. it is,
Because it is necessary to arrange the leads in a high density within a limited area of the lead frame, it is necessary to make each lead narrow and the lead spacing narrow. As a result, the leads become susceptible to internal stress, and residual stress causes external damage. The leads themselves become easily deformed, such as twisting. Residual stress is released due to thermal history during hermetic sealing of semiconductor elements such as molds. Also, the gaps between external leads become narrower, causing misalignment of the external leads. This is because contact with adjacent external leads and misalignment with lead bonding positions on a printed circuit board or the like may occur.

That is, the coining section 20 is formed by a coining process, and this coining process is effective for correctly bending the external lead 12, and even if the external lead 12 is slightly twisted due to internal stress, it can be placed in its normal position after being bent. Since it also has the effect of being able to adjust the external leads, even if each external lead is twisted after molding, the position of the external lead can be corrected to the normal position.
