DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (1) Industrial Application Field The present invention relates to a method for producing cloth for artificial flowers, and particularly to a method for producing cloth for artificial flowers using a stretchable knitted fabric.

(2) Conventional technology In the past, velvet was often used as a cloth for artificial flowers because it was thick and soft. Raw silk, woven silk, nylon diyose, etc. are used to give a plain feel, and ribbon tape is also known.

(3) Problems to be Solved by the Invention In the case of the above-mentioned conventional fabric for artificial flowers, since a woven fabric organized by warp and weft is used, it has no elasticity.
There was a problem in processing. In other words, petals and leaves are not flat but have curved surfaces, but in order to form these curved surfaces with woven fabric, it is necessary to fold or wrinkle a part of the fabric. The presence of these is extremely inconvenient for the petals and leaves of artificial flowers that strive for beauty.

On the other hand, when a stretchable cloth is used, it is easy to form a curved surface because it stretches, but it has the disadvantage that it returns to its original shape when the hand is removed. Another drawback was that nylon cloth could not be easily colored.

(4) Means for Solving the Problems In view of the above-mentioned problems, the present invention allows a curved surface to be formed freely by hand, the curved surface can be fixed, and even if a nylon material is used. The purpose is to provide a fabric for artificial flowers that can be freely colored with water-based pigments, and as a means of achieving this, the knitted fabric is stretched and held with a stretching tool to create flexibility on the surface and joints of the fibers that make up the fabric. The present invention is constituted as a method for producing a fabric for artificial flowers, which comprises forming a resin coating layer, removing the stretching tool after solidifying the coating, cutting the knitted fabric into a desired shape, and appropriately coloring the fabric.

(5) Effect According to the present invention having the above configuration, a round rod-shaped stretcher is inserted into circular knit stockings made of, for example, woolly nylon, and the stockings are stretched and held slightly thicker than the original shape. When the circular knitted fabric is immersed in the agent, taken out and dried, a flexible synthetic resin coating layer is formed on the fiber surface of the circular knitted fabric.

In this case, each fiber is crimped and intertwined with its neighboring fibers, and a film is formed at the bonded portion while the fibers remain bonded to bond the fibers at the bonded portion, making the circular knitted fabric stretchable. The shape is fixed when it is stretched on the tool. Therefore, even if the stretcher is removed after the coating layer has solidified, the circular knitted fabric does not shrink, and can be cut into a flat cloth and colored as appropriate, or cut into any shape and colored to make petals and leaves. etc. and make them into artificial flowers.

Cylindrical circular knitted fabric 3a that is generally used as nylon stockings, but with the leg portion removed
A stretching tool 6 made of round bar-shaped plastic is inserted into the inner hole 3b of the cylindrical circular knitted fabric 3, and held in a stretched state from the original size circumference of the cylindrical circular knitted fabric 3, while rotating the stretching tool 6. A flexible synthetic resin emulsion is applied to the knitted fabric 3a by brushing, and a synthetic resin coating layer 5 is formed on the surface of the fibers 4 constituting the knitting yarn 2 of the circular knitted fabric 3 by air drying.

The flexible synthetic resin emulsion is a mixture of acrylic resin emulsion and water paste, etc.
Addition of an oxidizing agent or natural oxidation causes an intermolecular crosslinking reaction, and a synthetic resin coating layer 5 can be formed on the fiber surface and between the fibers. This synthetic resin coating layer 5 is formed in such a manner that it adheres not only the surface of the fibers but also the joints of adjacent fibers, thereby fixing the shape of the looped knitting yarn 2. Therefore, after the coating layer 5 is formed, the stretching tool 6 is removed and the cylindrical circular knitted fabric 3a is cut in the longitudinal direction to obtain the artificial flower fabric 1 stretched in a rectangular shape. The cloth 1 for artificial flowers is cut into petal-shaped, leaf-shaped, or stem-forming shapes according to the artificial flowers to be produced, and then colored with water-based pigments as appropriate.

In this case, by pushing or pulling the cloth with your fingertips in accordance with the curved shape of the petals or leaves, the cloth will partially stretch and curve smoothly. Further, even if the metal cores are sandwiched and bonded together from the front and back, it can be bonded with a normal adhesive, and as described above, it can be freely curved.

For example, the circular knitted fabric may be a cylindrical piece that has already been cut open. In this case, the stretching tool may be of a mode in which the end edges are held from the front and back and are stretched outward.
