【発明の詳細な説明】 デントコーンや牧草等を刈取つて必要長さに裁
断し、トレーラ等に吹上げ収納させるフオレージ
ハーベスターとしては、例えば実開昭54−42617
号や特開昭56−39711号等の如き形態のものが公
知である。これらのフオレージハーベスターは、
いずれも刈取り裁断部分はトラクタの右側方へ突
出せるようにトラクタに装着する方式(以下ここ
では側方装着という)であるが、側方装着式は刈
取り裁断部がトラクタの右横部位に位置している
ので、刈取り作業に際しては、刈取り状況の監視
が容易であり作業がし易いなどの理由により、こ
の形態のフオレージハーベスターが一般に定着し
ているものである。しかし、例えばデントコーン
の立毛せる圃場に於いて、公知のフオレージハー
ベスターにより刈取り作業を行うに当つては、そ
の刈り始めにおいては、第1図の如くトラクタT
にフオレージハーベスターHを側方装着している
形態であるから、この為、このまま圃場に入るこ
とは、トラクタTにより折角の作物Zを踏み潰す
こととなり、従つてフオレージハーベスターが圃
場に入ることができるように機幅L分だけの立毛
せる作物Zは、人手により刈取り除去してトラク
タが刈取り作業に支障のない範囲で自由に走行や
旋回ができる通路を作ることが慣行されている
が、大面積圃場では、このトラクタ用通路部分の
作物Zを人手により刈取り除去することは多大な
労力を要するものである。又、前述した問題点を
解決したフオレージハーベスターとしては、トラ
クタTの後部三点リンクTBにフオレージハーベ
スターHを装着し、トラクタTを後退走行させて
刈取り作業を行う形態のものが外国で公知ではあ
るが、これは前進走行作業主体の通常仕様のトラ
クタTを後退走行作業をも自由に行えるよう前輪
