産業上の利用分野
本発明は、熱による物質の状態変化を利用した熱転写記
録インクシートに関し、特に昇華染料を記録媒体とする

従来の技術
熱転写記録方式は、一般に第3図に示す機構に二り、記
録紙8およびインクシート9をプラテンローラ10とサ
ーマルヘッド11で挾み、サーマルヘッド10の記録エ
ネルギーを変えることにより、インクシート9から記録
紙8に転写するイック量を調節し、階調を有する記録画
像を得る方式この方式に用いられていた従来のインクシ
ート14は、第4図に示すように、耐熱保護層2を下面
に設けたベースフィルム1の上面にインク層6を塗布し
た構成であった。ところで、ベースフィルム1として用
いられるポリエステルフィルムバー数的に接着性に欠け
るため、インク層6を形成するバインダ樹脂とベースフ
ィルムの接着力が弱くなり、記録時にインク層6が記録
紙8に全て転移する、いわゆるブロッキングが発生し易
いという問題点があった。またイyり7層に接着テープ
を張シ、接着テープを剥がすときにインク層の剥離をみ
るテーピングテストにおいても、ベースフィルム1から
インク層6が簡単に剥離してしまうという問題点もあっ

、シリカ等の微粒子13を混入した接着層12を形成し
その上にインク層6を設けるようにしたものがある。こ
の構成によれば、接着層12の表面が微粒子により凹凸
状になるためインク層6が接着し易くなって、ブロッキ
ングを防ぎ、テーピングテストにおいても剥離しないイ

ク層形成液との混合層が形成されるためインク層と接着

実施例

のものと、190℃のものを使用し、耐熱保護層2を設

上に約02〜043μmの厚さになるようにそれぞれ塗
布した。その後、染料、バインダを酢酸エチル、メチル
エチルケトン、モノクロルベンゼン等の溶媒で溶解して
調整したインク層形成溶液4を同図(a)に示す如く塗

者ともブロッキングを発生することなく走行し、ムラの
ない画像が得られた。記録濃度については、軟化点15

よりも軟化点190℃の方が多少高儂度を得ることがで
き、これらの平均値としては第2図に示す如く接着層を
持たないイックシート14とほぼ同程度の記録濃度が得

おいて剥離したシ、記録時てもプロノキノグせずにムラ
