The above-mentioned rising type connecting pipe has a short pipe bent at right angles to the main pipe and connected to the faucet body at the upper end of the straight main pipe, and a short pipe is provided at the lower end of the main pipe. The connecting pipe has a threaded portion for connecting to a water supply pipe or a hot water supply pipe, and conventional connecting pipes have been made up of a main pipe and a short pipe. For this reason, when connecting a connecting pipe by rotating it to a water supply pipe or hot water supply pipe buried in a pedestal connected to a wall, the short pipe bent at right angles to the upper end of the connecting pipe is connected to the wall surface. The distance between the axis of the water supply pipe or hot water supply pipe and the wall surface must be made large to prevent it from hitting the wall. Therefore, when a faucet is connected to a water supply pipe or a hot water supply pipe via this connecting pipe, a large gap is created between the wall surface and the faucet body, and the protrusion length of the faucet from the wall surface becomes long. As a result, there was a problem in that the actual area occupied by the faucet, calculated from the wall surface, became large.

In addition, it is required to securely tighten the threaded part at the lower end of the main pipe to the water supply pipe or hot water supply pipe, but in conventional connecting pipes of this type, a short pipe is integrally attached to the upper end of the main pipe. Because of this, when tightening a connecting pipe to a water supply pipe, etc., it is necessary to always rotate the short pipe together with the main pipe.

Therefore, if you try to tighten this connecting pipe to a water supply pipe by pointing the short pipe in a specified direction, for example in the direction of the faucet body to which it is attached, you will end up being limited by the direction of the short pipe and the amount of tightening of the connecting pipe will be limited. We have no choice but to implement these measures in moderation.

In other words, adjusting the amount of tightening here means that in order to specify the direction of the short pipe, it is often necessary to tighten the connecting pipe to a water supply pipe or the like while it is in a relaxed state.

As a result, it is often not possible to securely tighten the connecting pipe to the water supply pipe, etc., resulting in problems such as not only unstable fixing of the connecting pipe but also the inability to avoid water leakage.

Furthermore, since the connecting pipe is tightened to a water supply pipe, etc. while still having the above-mentioned problems, it is practically difficult to accurately set the direction of the short pipe integrally provided at the upper end of the connecting pipe in the desired direction. As a result, there was a risk that the attachment part of the faucet body could not be fixed to the short pipe in the correct condition.

The present invention was developed in view of the above problems, and its gist is to separate the main pipe and the short pipe of the connecting pipe from each other, provide a plurality of outflow holes in the upper end of the main pipe in the circumferential direction, and , the axes of the short tubes are perpendicular to each other,
Moreover, by providing a fitting hole and a circulation hole that communicate with each other, and fitting the upper end of the main tube into the fitting hole of the short tube and fixing both tubes with a tightening nut, the connecting tube can be attached to the wall surface. The faucet can be connected to the water supply pipe or hot water supply pipe in close proximity to the water supply pipe, thereby reducing the area occupied by the faucet starting from the wall surface, and also securely fixing the main pipe to the water supply pipe or hot water supply pipe. The objective is to achieve watertightness by ensuring that the connection between the short pipe and the faucet main body is fixed in the correct position and direction, and to obtain that watertightness. Examples will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. explain.

A plurality of outflow holes 1 are bored in the upper end of the main pipe C 1 along the circumferential direction, and a hexagonal collar 2 is provided below the outflow holes 1 in the main pipe C 1 . This collar 2 also serves as a wrench hook. A female thread 3 is formed on the inner circumferential surface of the upper end of the main pipe C 1 and is used to screw together a tightening nut 20, which will be described later. A water supply pipe 4 is installed on the outer peripheral surface of the lower end of the main pipe C1 .
Alternatively, a threaded portion 6 for connection to the hot water supply pipe 5 is provided, and a feed seat 7 is screwed into this threaded portion 6.

On the other hand, the short tube C2 has a first short tube section C'2 and a second short tube section, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4.
C''2 are integrated at right angles, and the axis of the fitting hole 8 of the first short tube section C''2 is aligned with the axis of the flow hole 9 of the second short tube section C''2. The axes are perpendicular to each other and communicated via a passage 10. To make it easier for water or hot water to flow from main pipe C1 to short pipe C2 ,
The center portion of the fitting hole 8 has a larger diameter than both end portions. Further, a male screw for connecting to the main body 11 of the hot and cold water mixing faucet A is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the tip of the second short pipe portion C″ 2 to form a connecting portion 12 . is equipped with a check valve V. As shown in FIG.
5 and the guide member 16, and bring the seat packing 15 into contact with the valve seat 17 protruding from the inner circumferential surface of the central part of the short pipe C''2 , and press the seat gasket 15 into the tip of the second short pipe C''2 . It has a structure in which a spring 19 is resiliently loaded between a threaded ring 18 screwed onto the circumferential surface and the seat packing 15, and the water pressure is applied to the spring 1.
Water or hot water flows from the main pipe C1 to the short pipe C2 by overcoming the repulsive force of the spring 19, but the seat gasket 15 comes into elastic contact with the valve seat 17 due to the repulsive force of the spring 19, causing the water or hot water to flow into the short pipe C2. is designed to prevent hot water from flowing backwards.

Next, a case will be described in which the main body 11 of the hot water mixing faucet A is connected to the water supply pipe 4 and the hot water supply pipe 5 buried in the stand S connected to the wall W using the connecting pipe C having the above configuration. Loosen the nut 20 and remove the main pipe.
Unfasten C 1 and short tube C 2 , and use one hand to remove short tube C 2.
At the same time, by holding the wrench (not shown) held in the other hand on the collar 2 of the main pipe C 1 and rotating only the main pipe C 1 , the threaded portion at the lower end of each main pipe C 1 6 to the water supply pipe 4 and the hot water supply pipe 5, and connect the main pipe C1 to the water supply pipe 4 and the hot water supply pipe 5, respectively. At this time, the heights of each main pipe C1 from the horizontal plane Sa are determined to be equal to each other. next,
Tighten the tightening nuts 20 so that the connecting parts 12 of each short pipe C 2 are parallel to each other and almost perpendicular to the wall surface Wa, and fix each short pipe C 2 to the upper end of each main pipe C 1 . After that, connect the connection part 12 of each short pipe C 2 to the main body 11 of the hot water mixing faucet A.
It is connected via a connecting nut 24 to each connecting portion provided on the water supply chamber and the hot water supply chamber side.

In this way, the rising type connecting pipe C according to the present invention
Separate main pipe C 1 and short pipe C 2 and tighten tightening nut 2.
Since both pipes C 1 and C 2 are fixed to each other by 0, it is possible to connect the connecting pipe C to the water supply pipe 4 or the hot water supply pipe 5 while bringing the connecting pipe C close to the wall surface Wa. Therefore, the protrusion length of the faucet from the wall surface Wa can be shortened, and the actual area occupied by the faucet calculated from the wall surface Wa can be reduced.

In addition, in this invention, since the short pipe C 2 is configured separately from the main pipe C 1 , the main pipe C 1 can be used as a water supply pipe by itself without the short pipe C 2 being an obstacle to walls etc. 4 or hot water supply pipe 5, and the work can be carried out without a short pipe.

Therefore, not only can the tightening work of the main pipe C 1 be carried out easily, but also the main pipe C 1 can be securely fixed to the water supply pipe 4 or the like without water leakage. The installation work of the short pipe C 2 to the main pipe C 1 can be easily carried out after specifying the direction after the installation work of the main pipe C 1 .
Short pipe C 2 and main pipe C 1 can be easily fixed, and watertightness can be assured. Furthermore, in conventional connecting pipes, the short pipe and main pipe are installed as one unit, so when connecting to a water supply pipe, etc., it is necessary to fix the short pipe while paying attention to the direction of the short pipe. However, in this case, the starting position of the thread on the threaded part of the main pipe or water supply pipe is not necessarily constant, and there are so-called variations, so it is difficult to securely tighten the connecting pipe to the water supply pipe, etc. If this were the case, as mentioned above, the directionality of the integrally installed short pipes had to be specified, leaving the problem that they had to be connected in a relaxed state without being tightly tightened. In this lever design, a short pipe
C 2 is installed separately from the main pipe C 1 , and the main pipe
In addition to the fact that a plurality of outflow holes 1 are provided in the upper end of C 1 in the circumferential direction, the short pipe C 2
can be fixed independently. Therefore, there is no problem of having to fix it in a relaxed state as in the prior art.

In addition, if the faucets to be connected are hot and cold water mixing faucets, connect each main pipe C1 to the water supply pipe 4 and the hot water supply pipe 5 so that the heights of the stand S from the horizontal plane Sa are equal, and then Later, each short pipe C2 is fixed to each main pipe C1 via a tightening nut 20, so each short pipe
It becomes possible to make the heights of the connecting parts 12 of C 2 equal and to position each connecting part 12 parallel to each other and almost perpendicular to the wall surface Wa,
Consequently, the hot and cold water mixing faucet can be accurately positioned horizontally and connected to the water supply pipe 4 and the hot water supply pipe 5.

Furthermore, since a plurality of outflow holes 1 are provided in the upper end of the main pipe C 1 of this invention in the circumferential direction, the main pipe C 1
The fitting hole 8 of the short pipe C 2 and the outflow hole 1 of the main pipe C 1 can be communicated with each other regardless of the mounting rotational position of the short pipe C 2 with respect to the water supply pipe 4 or the like.

In other words, when installing the short pipe C 2 to the main pipe C 1 , the direction of the short pipe C 2 with respect to the main pipe C 1 is not restricted, so the direction of the short pipe C 2 can be adjusted freely. There is also an advantage that the direction of the faucet body 11 can be freely adjusted.

Further, since the fitting hole 8 and the circulation hole 9 of the short pipe C2 are provided perpendicularly to each other and communicate with each other, the upper end of the main pipe C1 can be connected to the fitting hole 8 of the short pipe C2 . Since both pipes C 1 and C 2 can be fixed via the tightening nut 20, the work of fixing both pipes C 1 and C 2 can be carried out reliably and easily.
