Abstract

PURPOSE:To greatly reduce the number of parts and the man-hours for connection and to contrive a reduction of cost and an improvement in reliability by the constitution consisting in integrating all of a printed circuit board, flat cables, film connectors, and flexible printed circuit parts to one unit. CONSTITUTION:All the conventional parts which are the printed circuit board 2, the flat cables 3, the film connectors 5, and an FPC6 for interface are integrated as the flexible printed circuit FPC7. Only the connection needed by such constitution is to connect electronic parts 1 and a liquid crystal display element 4 to the FPC7. The need for connecting the cables 3, the connectors 5 and the FPC6 respectively to the circuit board 2 is, therefore, eliminated, by which the number of parts and the man-hours for connection are greatly reduced and the reduction of the cost and the improvement in the reliability are attained. A slit 9 is coated in the final so that metallic wirings 4 are protected.
