Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain amber-colored external parts having the color tone of a TaC-based sintered hard alloy by coating ceramics or a sintered hard alloy with a TiC-TiN mixture by ion plating. CONSTITUTION:A case of a WC-based sintered hard alloy 1 is washed and subjected to ionic bombardment with gaseous Ar.
