Abstract

PURPOSE: To detect the fault of a system generated in a transmission processing suspended area, by attaching a function to decide a state when a transmission processing suspended period exceeds a prescribed limit time as abnormality in an electronic computer side.
CONSTITUTION: A system is constituted so that the abnormality even in the transmission processing suspended area is monitored by a transmission abnormality detecting part 11b, and a switching command to a switching circuit part 11a in its operating quantity switching circuit 11 can be supplied when the abnormality is generated. In other words, a duration (residence time) is measured in the suspended area of a transmission processing between a digital control circuit 5 and a personal computer 1, and when that time exceeds the prescribed limit time set in advance, the fact is decided as the abnormality in the personal computer 1, and alarm is issued and displayed to the operator when the abnormality is generated. In such a way, it is possible to detect the abnormality in the personal computer 1 side even in the suspended period of the transmission processing by setting the limit time at a time larger than the largest suspended time at the time of performing the normal operation of the system, and to perform the switching of a prescribed quantity of plant operation, and also, to recognize the state of a plant.
