Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve processability, by laminating a thin plate of a natural stone on a surface of an inorganic board. CONSTITUTION:A thin plate 1 of a natural stone 1 is laminated on a surface of an inorganic board 2 through an adhesive layer 3. The thin plate of the natural stone whose thickness is about 2-4mm is prepared by cutting such natural stones as a marble, a granite and so on. As the inorganic board 2, foamed cement plates or fiber plates whose main component are inorganic fibers such as rock wool, glass fibers and so on can be cited.

The cutting method is as long as it can form a thin piece as described above, but is not limited to (for example, cutting with the raw natural stone immersed in a liquid bath containing abrasive grains). Preferably. By cutting in a liquid bath, the heat generated during cutting can be dissipated, and the occurrence of cranks due to heat can be prevented.

As described above, the inorganic decorative material according to the present invention has a thin plate of natural stone adhered to its surface, so it has the design effect of natural stone, similar to the conventional case of using only natural stone. Therefore, if it is used for interior and exterior materials in the same way as natural stone alone, buildings can be made to look beautiful and luxurious. Furthermore, the weight can be reduced to 1/3 or less compared to the conventional method, and workability is improved. Further, the end face of the inorganic board can be easily formed into a solid structure as shown in FIG. 2 or a tangled structure as shown in FIG. 3. If such processing is applied, the workability will be further improved. It is also inexpensive because less expensive natural stone is used. Incidentally, if a traditional stone made only of natural stone were subjected to the above-mentioned actual processing, a large number of derivative products would be generated and the product would be extremely expensive.

Compared to Comparative Example 1, which is the stone itself, it has a lower density and is superior in thermal conductivity and bending strength. Therefore, it can be seen that the workability is good (and the insulation effect is excellent when used as an interior/exterior material). In Example 1, the density of the thin board is 2.7, and the density of the inorganic board is 0. It was 6.

Next, as Comparative Example 2, a rock wool decorative board with a thickness of 15 mm, which had been embossed on the surface and was further water-based painted, was prepared, and this and the inorganic decorative material obtained in Example 2 each had a surface hardness of 1. Bending fracture load 2 The water absorption rate from the surface was measured, and the results are shown in Table 2. The surface hardness was measured using a thread-wound hardness meter, and the hardness under normal conditions and the hardness after a water absorption test were measured. Bending fracture strength is JISA
1408 test method was used. The water absorption rate from the surface was determined by measuring the water absorption amount before and after water absorption at a portion 3 am from the surface layer, and dividing the increase after water absorption by the water absorption amount before water absorption.
