Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease the number of parts while reducing eddy current loss by molding a motor housing by plastics, into which a magnetic material is mixed, and using one part of the motor housing as a stator yoke. CONSTITUTION:A motor housing 10 is formed by a monolithic molded form in which the particulates of a magnetic substance such as iron or fiber plastics are kneaded and mixed and the magnetic substance is mixed into a plastic material for molding. The inside of the motor housing 10 molded in this manner has a magnetic material, thus constituting a magnetic circuit. Consequently, a region adjacent to an exciting coil 23 in the motor housing 10 can be employed as a backup (a stator yoke). Accordingly, the motor housing 10 is worked as the stator yoke shaping the effective magnetic circuit while inhibiting the generation of eddy currents at high speed.
