Abstract
PURPOSE: To effectively utilize the area of construction site by a method in which various shapes of steel materials as stress supports are driven until they reach the bearing ground or its neighbor of the main part of a underground continuous wall and their lower ends are fixed to permit the foundation of a structure to be supported.
CONSTITUTION: An underground continuous wall is constructed with the process as follows: i.e. while the ground is excavated, cement milk, etc., is injected to fill the excavated pit with soil cement 12, and a square steel tube 3, together with H-steel 2, is driven into the pit and its head is struck until its lower end reaches the bearing ground 13, or, cement milk 7 is injected to the lower part of the tube 3 to form a concrete block. The upper soil cement 12 in the tube 3 may be drawn out and substituted with concrete, and reinforcing materials are set and connected with the superstructure. A concrete wall 6 is then constructed in close contact with the wall 1 along the inside of the tube 3, and a column 8 and a beam 7 are set in the inside space.
