検索することができ、検索位置におけるコマーシャル部
分等を避けるため、標準再生にして2分間後の画像デー
タを、例えば5秒間程度再生し、再生画像のうち、立ち
上がり時の画像の乱れのない再生開始1.5秒後の画像
を記憶する。こうして、既に記録された番組についての
見出し情報を収集することで、1枚の画面を複数の小画
面に分割して表示するマルチ画面見出しを完成し、必要
に応じてモニタ受像機2の画面2aに表示できるよう構
成されている。

面見出しを録画内容の異なる記録箇所ごとに挿入するこ
とができ、これにより磁気テープを再生している途中で
、見出しを見たいと思った場合でも、いちいち磁気テー
プを巻き初めまで巻き戻さなくとも、そこからもっとも
近い位置に挿入記録されたマルチ画面見出しを再生すれ
ばよく、こうした再生半ばでの見出し表示要求に対して
マルチ画面見出しを短時間で呼び出すことができる。

と思った場合でも、いちいち磁気テープをテープ巻き初
めまで巻き戻さなくとも、そこからもっとも近い位置に
挿入記録されたマルチ画面見出しを再生すればよく、こ
うした再生半ばでの見出し表示要求に対してマルチ画面
見出しを短時間で呼び出すことができる等の優れた効果
を奏する。
