Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the utilizing of a frequency by arranging plural kinds of groups with different adjacent channel interference probability to each zone and selecting a channel group in response to the interference state of each communication.
CONSTITUTION: Two adjacent channels exist in the channels of each radio zone, they are classified into a group A having a high adjacent channel interfer ence probability and a group B having a small adjacent channel interference probability not used for other zone, and when a request of radio channel setting is caused for a mobile station because of calling or reception, the channel of the group A having the high adjacent channel interference probability is assigned at first and the channel of the group A as it is used when no adjacent channel interference is caused. If the adjacent channel interference having the specified value or over takes place, it is discriminated by the interference detection means and the channel is switched into the group B channel having the small adjacent channel interference probability.
