Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify an equipment and to improve working efficiency by providing the arm rockable in reciprocation to the main shaft of a reversing machine, arranging the rail for a welding robot traveling on the arm as well and performing a welding by reversing the welding robot alternately.
CONSTITUTION: A reversing machine 1 having a width adjustable chuck member 5 is provided and the arm 6 rocking with reciprocation is fitted to a main shaft 2. The rocking end of the arm 6 is fixed to the center part of a welding robot traveling rail 7. A reversing machine 1 is installed on the material 12 to be welded and after instructing welding conditions, a welding position, etc., one side of the material 12 to be welded is subjected to 1W2 layer vertical bead welding, then the welding is performed by moving the welding robot main body 8 and rail 7 to the other side of the material 12 to be welded via the driving of the reversing machine 1. A large sized reversing device is disused and the reliance on a worker is reduced, so the equipment is simplified and working efficiency is improved.
