Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve reliability and to reduce power loss, by a method wherein first and second inverters are alternately operated in half-wave period of output sinusoidal AC, and their outputs are added in reverse polarity.
CONSTITUTION: First and second inverters 1, 2 are installed, and provided with high-frequency transformers T1, T2 and transistors Q1∼Q4, Q5∼Q8 as switching elements in bridge connection respectively. The transistors Q1 and Q4, Q2 and Q3, Q5 and Q8, Q6 and Q7 are controlled by output from a control circuit 4, and each pair is turned on or off alternately, thereby high-frequency interrupted current flows alternately in primary windings P1, P2 of the transformers T1, T2 according to half-wave period of the output sinusoidal AC. Output of secondary windings S1, S2 of the transformers T1, T2 is rectified by rectifiers REC1∼REC8 and then combined, thereby pulsating output having frequency component of the output sinusoidal AC is obtained.
