[Detailed description of the invention] The present invention relates to a tablet shape used for continuous sterilization and disinfection of water discharged from a septic tank. More specifically, the present invention relates to a tablet shape that accelerates the dissolution rate when the tablets are stacked and used for sterilization of septic tank effluent water.

Conventionally, for example, the continuous sterilization of water discharged from a septic tank has been carried out mainly by stacking non-porous tablets containing bleached powder or trichloroisocyanuric acid as the main ingredients in a cartridge. Recently, methods such as making small holes in tablets and hanging them with string have been adopted. However, with these methods, a part that is difficult to dissolve remains in the center of the tablet, and this becomes a pillar that prevents the next tablet from falling. This means that the tablet does not dissolve stably, and the chlorine concentration supplied to the flowing water decreases. It is not constant. For this reason, the effluent from the septic tank was often discharged from the system without being sterilized sufficiently, which caused problems.

The purpose of this invention is to maintain a constant chlorine concentration in the effluent water without leaving any undissolved parts in the center of the tablets when sterilizing the effluent water of a septic tank with a stack of sterilizing tablets. The purpose is to solve the above-mentioned problems. The present inventors conducted various studies to solve this problem, and as a result, they completed the present invention.

That is, the present invention is a sterilizing tablet for septic tank discharge water, which is characterized by having concentric holes in a circular tablet and creating a bulge between the periphery of the hole and the periphery of the tablet. . It is preferable that this bulge has a rounded cross section.

By creating a bulge in this way, when the tablets are stacked, there is a line contact between the tablets, which increases the contact area with flowing water and improves solubility. Erosion by water is likely to occur at the contact area, and dissolution of the central part of the drug is promoted, so that the stacked tablets can fall smoothly without leaving a columnar undissolved part in the center of the tablet.

As shown in FIG. 1, the tablet is circular in shape, with a concentric hole in the center, and both sides of the tablet are rounded when viewed from the cross section. The size is not particularly limited, but for domestic septic tanks, it is preferable to have an outer diameter of 30 to 35 mm, an inner diameter of 8 to 18 mm, and a thickness of about 10 to 20 mm.
Tablet molding pressure 100~1500Kg/ cm2 , preferably 300~
It is 600Kg/ cm2 . If the molding pressure is less than 100 kg/cm 2 , sufficient hardness cannot be obtained and the tablets will crack during handling or crumble when immersed in water, making them unusable.
If it exceeds 1500 kg/cm 2 , the tablets will suffer from capping and lamination, rendering them of no commercial value, and furthermore, the dissolution rate will be slow, which is undesirable.

FIGS. 3 and 4 are diagrams showing a comparison of the dissolution rates of conventional non-porous tablets and tablets of the present invention when used in a septic tank. In the case of the tablet without holes in Figure 3, in the center of the tablet 2 to 3 days after the start of use,
A columnar undissolved portion remains (Fig. 3B). After 4 to 5 days, this undissolved area becomes smaller (Fig. 3C), and after 6 to 7 days, the tablet on top falls off, comes into contact with water, and begins to dissolve (Fig. 3D). That is,
When used in stacks, it takes about 6 days for each tablet to dissolve. On the other hand, in the case of the product of the present invention shown in Figure 4, the tablets melted considerably within 1 to 2 days after the start of use (Figure 4 F), and after 2 to 3 days, the tablets on the top began to dissolve. The tablets are considerably smaller (Figure 4G). After 4 days, the tablets were gone and the tablets had also melted considerably (Fig. 4H). That is, in the case of the product of the present invention, it takes about two days for one tablet to melt and disappear when used in stacks. In the case of the tablets of this invention, there is no undissolved part left in the center, and when used in stacks, the next tablet falls smoothly, so the tablets dissolve uniformly and the chlorine concentration in the flowing water is kept constant. Sufficient sterilization and disinfection will be carried out. In addition, the dissolution rate of the tablets is 33% faster than that of conventional tablets without holes.
It has a dissolution rate of ~4 times, and 1.5 to 2 times that of a circular flat tablet without grooves and having holes like the present invention. The tablets of the present invention can be used by stacking them in a cartridge or by hanging them from a string or rod. There is no particular limit to the number of stacks, but 10 to 30 tablets is generally appropriate. As described above, the tablets of the present invention have the effect of keeping the chlorine concentration supplied to the flowing water constant because no pillar remains in the center and the stacked tablets fall smoothly.
