Abstract

PURPOSE: To keep a clearance between a bearing and a shaft constant by providing a recess part in the bore of a bearing or on a shaft, and an air vent hole on the side of the bearing or a longitudinal groove on the shaft, and moreover widening the outer surface area of the bearing.
CONSTITUTION: A sliding bearing is composed of a shaft 1 and a bearing 2, and has such constitution as a recess part 5 is provided in the bore of the bearing 2 to reduce a contact area between the shaft 1 and bearing 2 for preventing the occurrence of frictional heat. The bearing 2 has its periphery formed into a toothed wheel shape to widen its outer surface area for improved radiating effect. In addition to that, the bearing 2 is provided with an air vent hole 4, and the air is drawn through the air vent hole 4 into the hearing 2 with the rotation of the shaft 1 to cool the bearing 2 and the shaft 1.
