Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the starting operation of a motor by starting the motor from its stopping state by means of a motor drive circuit, and switching to a motor drive by a phase detection energizing circuit when the rotating speed of the motor exceeds a set speed. CONSTITUTION:Data for setting the starting speed variation of a motor 5 is stored in a memory circuit 9, and is set in a counter 8. A logic processor 7 inputs the output of the counter 8 at the time of starting and starts the motor 5 from its stopping state. When the rotating speed of the motor 5 exceeds a set speed, the processor 7 inputs the output of a comparator 6 and drives the motor by means of phase detection energization. When the stop of the motor 5 is detected by an output signal from a rotation detector 14 from the starting time, the processor 7 again starts the motor.
