Abstract

PURPOSE: To miniaturize the size of a device by providing an end block having a buffer mechanism movably on the stroke end of a cylinder tube.
CONSTITUTION: On the stroke end of a cylinder tube 1 is movably provided on an end block 5 having a communicating hole 7 and a guide rod 8. On the periphery of the end block 5 is engraved a thread 10 to which a worm wheel 11 is screwed. In addition, a needle valve 31 is provided in the communicating hole of a cover 3 to be communicated with the guide rod 8. The end block 5 can be thus moved to the preset position at the time of changing the stopping position of a piston, and the piston 2 can be thereby driven in a necessary stroke. A pneumatic cylinder equipped with a buffer mechanism can comparatively be simplified in its structure and miniaturized in its size.
