Abstract

PURPOSE: To control a solar battery to the vicinity of the maximum power output point at a high response speed irrespective of whether the solar light quantity is large or small, by controlling an output of an inverter in accordance with a detected value of an output voltage.
CONSTITUTION: When a set voltage of a voltage setting device 23 is set to a set voltage Vs which becomes the maximum power output point Pmax, a variable frequency control inverter 12 controls the variable frequency control inverter 12 so that an output voltage of a solar battery 11 becomes the set voltage. Also, an output current 1 which has been detected by a current sensor 15 and output voltage V which has been detected by a voltage sensor 16 are inputted to a multiplying circuit 18, and an output power P of the solar battery 11 is derived. The output power P is inputted to an increase direction discriminating circuit 19, and an 'increase +' or 'decrease -' signal of the output voltage is generated so that the output power of the solar battery 11 becomes a voltage of the maximum power output point Pmax, and inputted to a lamp function generating circuit 20. In this lamp function generating circuit 20, a voltage ΔV being proportional to the 'increase +' or 'decrease -' is generated and inputted to a comparing part 22.
