Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the reliability of a rotary compressor and miniaturize the same, by returning a high temperature gas from an introducing pipe to a mechanical portion after cooling in a cooling portion wherein the high temperature gas is conducted out from a discharging pipe portion to the outside of a sealing receptacle, and cooling effectively the vicinity of a discharge valve and a cylinder which have the highest temperature in the compressor.
CONSTITUTION: A high temperature high pressure gas discharged is cooled at a discharging pipe 14 and a cooling portion 19 by means of an outside air and a blown air, is returned directly from an introducing pipe 23 to the anti- motor side plate 7 of a mechanical portion. Then, the gas is passed through a cooling passage 22 provided on the anti-motor side plate 7 to be heat- exchanged, and is released into a receptacle 1 from a communicating hole 24 for returning the gas into the sealing receptacle 1. As a result, the vicinity of a discharge valve 15 and a cylinder 5 which come to the highest temperature in the rotary compressor can be effectively cooled. Moreover, as no special parts are needed, the rationalization of the cooling portion 19 and miniaturization owing to the reduction of temperature can be realized.
