- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 文字等を表示する表示パターンを有した液
晶セルと、前記液晶セルの背面後方に配置された
光源と、前記液晶セルを駆動する太陽電池と、を
備えた液晶表示装置において、前記太陽電池は、
前記液晶セルの背面と前記光源の間に配置されて
いることを特徴とする透過型液晶表示装置。 (2) 実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項記載におい
て、前記太陽電池には、前記液晶セルの前記表示
パターンに対応する部分に透孔が設けられている
ことを特徴とする透過型液晶表示装置。
