The present invention relates to a conductive paint for forming a thick film conductor on an insulating substrate with excellent adhesion to the substrate and good solderability. The conductive paint is applied onto an insulating substrate such as ceramic, glass, or enameled steel plate by a method such as screen printing, and then fired to form a thick film conductor. The formed conductor is used as a wiring conductor of an electronic circuit, a terminal electrode of a resistor, an electrode of a capacitor, etc. These conductors include
Lead wires and various electronic components are connected by soldering, thermocompression bonding, or other methods. Thick film conductors made of conductive paints are used by being incorporated into electronic circuits and electronic components, but due to the heat generated during use, they are often left at high temperatures of around 120°C for long periods of time. be. However, conventionally, when used for a long time in such a thermal environment, the adhesion strength between the conductor and the board decreases significantly, resulting in the conductor peeling off and lead wires and parts falling off. Ta. Therefore, it has been desired to have a material that not only has good solderability but also has minimal deterioration in adhesion strength to the substrate even when used for a long time in a hot environment. The present invention is a conductive paint for forming a thick film conductor that meets the above requirements, and is composed of a conductive powder, a crystalline glass powder, an amorphous glass powder, a bismuth oxide powder, and an organic vehicle. The conductor formed by the conductive paint of the present invention is
It has excellent solderability and can also suppress deterioration of adhesion strength when used in the above-mentioned thermal environment. Electronic circuits and electronic parts obtained from conductive paints using amorphous glass suffer from a significant decrease in the adhesion strength between the conductor and the substrate due to heat generation during use. Therefore, the present inventors conducted research using crystalline glass instead of amorphous glass, but found that using crystalline glass resulted in poor solderability of the conductive film, making it unsuitable for practical use. I understood. This is because a large amount of crystallized glass exists on the surface of the conductor film. However, by using crystalline glass, the adhesion to the substrate was improved and thermal deterioration was significantly improved. The present inventors added bismuth oxide to improve solderability, but contrary to expectations, solderability was not improved. As a result of testing various compounding agents, it was found that adding amorphous glass powder to the combination of crystalline glass powder and bismuth oxide powder resulted in very good solderability and did not adversely affect heat deterioration resistance. I understood.
This is thought to be because the amount of glass present on the surface of the conductor obtained by adding amorphous glass is very small, and this improves solderability. The above-mentioned effects include conductive powder, crystalline glass powder, amorphous glass powder,
This is achieved only when the four components of bismuth oxide powder are used, and even if one of the components is missing, this unique effect cannot be obtained. The conductive paint of the present invention can also be used in cases where soldering is not required. For example, there are cases where electronic circuits are formed using gold as conductive powder and lead wires are thermocompression bonded to this, or semiconductor elements are mounted on a gold conductor film. Since the paint of the present invention forms a conductor with less glass on its surface, it facilitates thermocompression bonding of lead wires and mounting of semiconductors. The conductive powder used in the present invention is at least one type of powder selected from silver, gold, palladium, platinum, copper, nickel, zinc, and oxides of these metals, and can be prepared by chemical reduction, electrolysis, It can be obtained by methods such as mechanical pulverization. As crystalline glass powder, SiO 2 ―Al 2 O 3 ―
CaO system, ZnO―PbO―B 2 O 3 system, ZnO―B 2 O 3 system,
ZnO―B 2 O 3 ―SiO 2 system, ZnO―PbO―B 2 O 3 ―SiO 2
glass etc. are used. Examples of amorphous glasses include PbO-SiO 2 -B 2 O 3 system, PbO-SiO 2 system,
PbO―SiO 2 ―Al 2 O 3 system, PbO―SiO 2 ―B 2 O 3 ―
Al 2 O 3 glass is used. When these glasses contain less crystalline glass, the adhesion strength with the substrate deteriorates when used in a thermal environment. Furthermore, if the glass contains a large amount of crystalline glass, the adhesion strength with the substrate will not deteriorate even when used in a thermal environment, but it will be difficult to solder, making it difficult to join lead wires and mount components. Therefore, the ratio of crystalline glass to amorphous glass used is preferably about 10:90 to 70:30 by weight. The bismuth oxide powder may be one commonly used in conductive paints. As the organic vehicle, a mixture of ethyl cellulose, nitrocellulose, alkyd resin, etc., and diethyl phthalate, terpineol, butyl carbitol acetate, etc. can be used. The conductive paint of the present invention has a conductive powder of 100%
It is preferable to use 0.5 to 12 parts by weight of glass powder and 1 to 20 parts by weight of bismuth oxide powder. Next, the present invention will be described with reference to examples, but the present invention is not limited thereto. In addition, in the examples, "part"

The conductors thus formed were measured for initial adhesion strength with the substrate, adhesion strength after being left in a heat environment for a long time, and solderability, and the results are shown in Table 1. The initial adhesion strength is the number of kg when the conductor is peeled off from the board by soldering a 0.5mm diameter pre-soldered copper wire to a 1.5mm x 1.5mm conductor using Sn63/Pb37 solder and then pulling the lead wire perpendicular to the board. It is expressed as The adhesion strength after being left in a thermal environment is
After soldering a lead wire to a conductor and holding it at a temperature of 150℃ for 100 hours, the adhesion strength with the board is as follows:
It was measured in the same manner as the initial adhesion strength. (Hereinafter referred to as “150℃
"Adhesion strength after being left for 100 hours." ) Solderability is measured by the spread of solder when a Sn63/Pb37 solder ball with a diameter of 2.5 mm is placed on a conductor and held on a hot plate heated to 230°C for 20 seconds.
Shown in Flow. Flow% is expressed by the following formula, and the larger the value, the better the solderability. Flow% = Long and short average diameter when solder spreads - 2.5/2.5 x 100 (%) However, for Example 6 and Comparative Examples 4 and 5,
I used In50/Pb50 solder instead of Sn63/Pb37 solder.

Since the adhesion strength deteriorates little even when exposed to heat, it can withstand use in hot environments.
